About the Iowa Grocery Industry Association

​The Iowa Grocery Industry Association (IGIA) is a state trade association that represents the food industry including chain and independent supermarkets, chain and independent convenience stores, suppliers, wholesalers, brokers, manufacturers and distributors.
Since 1899, the IGIA has been the voice of Iowa's grocer industry. IGIA has long served as a resource to its members, the food industry and the public through education, legislative support, networking and philanthropic programs. The Association’s leadership is as diverse as the industry it serves with directors from major retailers and independent markets, as well as national and local wholesalers and suppliers.
