Welcome to the Quad Cities

From everyone here at the Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau, we are looking forward to welcoming Iowa Grocery Industry Association members to the beautiful and historic Quad Cities! We are rich in history and diverse in culture and sure to have something to please everyone in your group. You are visiting during one of the most exciting weeks in our area—John Deere Classic Week. Part of the PGA Tour, the John Deere Classic brings some of golf’s greatest players and most promising up-and-comers to the area.

The Quad Cities is nestled on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River; our communities include Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Moline/East Moline and Rock Island, Illinois. There is so much to do and see while in the Quad Cities that it takes five cities and two states to contain it all. I believe you’ll be pleased with the wide variety of activities, tours and attractions the area has to offer to you during your stay with us.

The Quad Cities is home to many of the Midwest’s top attractions including the John Deere World Headquarters, the John Deere Pavilion, TPC at Deere Run, the Figge Art Museum, the Putnam Museum and Giant Screen Theater, the Village of East Davenport, the Isabel Bloom Factory, the Rock Island Arsenal and the attractions of historic LeClaire, to name a few.

We encourage you to take time to explore some of the wonderful experiences that await you in the Quad Cities.

Our best wishes for a great convention.

Sincerely,

Joan Kranovich, CMP
