"Soaps and More: Designing Your Own Natural Bodycare"
Hosted by Jacque Irlbeck (Coralville Marriott)
Wednesday, July 12 - 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Coralville Marriott Hotel and Conference Center
Designed especially for our members’ guests, this special event hosted by Jacque Irlbeck, the wife of IGIA Chairman Aaron Irlbeck, provides an opportunity to get creative and get connected to new friends.
Enjoy some tasty refreshments as veteran soap maker Sandy Rosenberger from New Bo Mercantile & Vintage Shop shares her simple, versatile and fun natural soap making process for crafting homemade glycerin soap, lotion and salt scrub. Participants can choose from a wide variety of fragrances and essential oils to concoct their own signature items. The high-quality, glycerin-based products ensure soaps that moisturize and effectively clean all skin types.
Attendees will leave this hands-on workshop with their own collection of custom soap, lotion and salt scrub as well as many new friends to enjoy throughout the rest of convention.
Please be sure to sign up your guest/spouse for this event when you register for convention using the IGIA Convention on-line or print registration forms. Signing up in advance ensures that there will be enough supplies for everyone.
