The IGIA Women's Network events provide a great opportunity to meet and network with other women in the industry.

As the acclaimed author of the book series, “Caucus Chaos,” Dave reveals the intrigue, uncertainty, scandal and controversy surrounding the Iowa Caucuses. His timely presentation will provide a fun and insightful look into the Caucuses as well as leadership lessons from the campaign trail.
An Edward R. Murrow and Emmy award-winning journalist, Dave is the go-to expert when it comes to covering the Iowa Caucuses, state politics and the role Iowa plays in choosing the nation’s president. He graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and later worked at the powerhouse radio station, KMOX, in St. Louis.
Dave left St. Louis radio to earn his Master’s Degree at the prestigious University of Missouri-Columbia. He stayed in Columbia, where he served as morning news anchor and assignments manager at KOMU-TV.
He then moved to Montgomery, Alabama, to help launch WNCF-TV, where he served as a weekend anchor and political reporter.
In 2001, Dave began his career at WHO-TV, where he specializes in coverage of the Iowa Caucuses and state government.
Dave has earned a national Emmy, Edward R. Murrow and dozens of state and regional awards for his reporting and anchoring. He also authored his first book, “Caucus Chaos,” an insider’s account of the always unpredictable way Iowans help pick the next president.
