Casey's General Stores launches rewards program

By Kim Norvell

Iowa-based Casey's General Stores has launched its first rewards program.

Participants in Casey's Rewards can earn points on everyday purchases and redeem them for Casey's Cash, which can be used to pay for items inside the store, redeem points for cents off of fuel, or turn points into a donation to a local school of their choice.

Shoppers earn 10 points for every $1 spent in-store or online and five points for every gallon of fuel. They must reach 250 points before shoppers can redeem points.

The company, which is based in Ankeny and is located in 16 states, has also updated its app to help track points.

And to kickoff its new program, Cash for Classrooms, Casey's is donating $50,000 to local schools to use for restocking school supplies, paying off student lunch debt or updating classrooms.

The company recently went digital with its pizza box top program, which allows customers to redeem 10 cardboard pizza box tops for a free large pie. Shoppers can now log their pizza purchases on the Casey's app.
