Keep Iowa Beautiful announced in mid-February that it has selected the Iowa Grocery Industry Association as the recipient of the 2010 KIB Organization Award.
The honor, which is given for outstanding volunteer service, is in recognition of the IGIA's leadership efforts on the Build with Bags plastic bag recycling initiative and grant program.
The association will be formally honored during Keep Iowa Beautiful's 6th Annual First Impression's Symposium on Friday, April 16, at the Iowa Farm Bureau in West Des Moines.
