IGIA Events provide unmatched networking and educational opportunities
Connect with grocery and convenience store professionals from across the state of Iowa at the IGIA's events. Spring and fall golf outings, the IGIA Get Connected Convention, and the Hall of Fame Dinner draw industry executives from across IGIA's membership of 1,400+ retail stores and 400+ suppliers, manufacturers, and wholesalers. Plus, participate in our Women's Network, apply for the Leadership Institute, or join in on educational sessions about things impacting your business landscape.
IGIA members make up a passionate group of companies and organizations working to keep the grocery industry strong and successful.

Listing in Supplier Member Directory and VendorStation
All members are listed in IGIA’s quarterly magazine, the iowa grocer, as well as online at www.iowagrocers.com. In addition, our VendorStation, a public directory of IGIA's supplier members, features suppliers' logos and company descriptions.
Member Participation in Committees and Councils
Perhaps one of the most valuable opportunities with IGIA right now is the ability to participate on various committees that help plan IGIA events and fundraising efforts throughout the year. Even as the pandemic has temporarily reoriented IGIA's focus away from in-person programming, our members serving in committee roles have been absolutely crucial to the association's decision-making. Serving on a committee puts your name in front of industry peers, giving voice to your ideas and business goals and providing valuable networking opportunities.
Statewide Government Relations Program
IGIA provides legislative lobbying on the national and state levels to protect your business interests.
The Iowa Grocers Education Foundation awards scholarships to students who have ties to the grocery industry. We also have a "Piggyback" Scholarship Program which allows member companies to set up their own scholarship awards in their names.
The IGIA Board of Directors includes representatives from every facet of Iowa's grocery industry.
IGIA has a robust Events Calendar with entertaining and educational networking opportunities throughout the year. While in-person events are on pause, we're still offering virtual programs and remaining forward-focused to keep delivering excellent events in the future.
