IGIA Fall Golf Classic Heads to Echo Valley in 2018

Event to be Held Thursday, September 20

Iowa Grocery Industry Association members will head to Echo Valley Country Club, 3150 Echo Valley Drive in Norwalk, Iowa for this year’s IGIA Fall Golf Classic tournament.

Event check-in will open at 9 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m., and lunch will be served on the course.

“Echo Valley Golf Course provides an outstanding golf experience for our members,” says IGIA President Michelle Hurd. “The course is constantly being updated and provides topnotch customer service. We’ve held our spring golf event here before and it was a great success.”

The award-winning golf course at Echo Valley is set in the beautiful rolling hills of central Iowa, mere minutes away from the heart of Des Moines. Named 2013 Course of the Year by the Iowa Golf Association, golfers at Echo Valley enjoy 27 holes of challenging golf, each hole features five sets of tees to accommodate players of all levels.

“The Fall Golf Classic event sells out quickly,” adds Hurd. “The golf course can accommodate only a given number of golfers at one time so space is limited. Based on last year’s turnout, if you want to be a hole sponsor or just want to golf as an individual, it would be a good idea to register early.”

Golfers will gather in the clubhouse at the conclusion of the tournament for an awards ceremony including prizes, refreshments and appetizers.

In addition to providing a unique golf experience, this event also provides ample opportunities to network, build new friendships and catch up with old friends. “Our members make valuable business connections while having a truly enjoyable time,” says Hurd. “We hope you will be able to join us.”

This event accommodates a limited number of players so register early using the form on the adjacent page or call the IGIA office, 800.383.3663.
